San Jose del Monte

Bulacan

A Progressive Community and Vibrant Economy

Come to Know about San Jose del Monte

Bulacan was derived from the original Tagalog word "Bulak", meaning cotton, after the Spanish had found this growing abundantly especially in the area of Bulacan. It has historically been a  significant region for trade and commerce with neighboring towns as well as with Manila and continues to be a regularly visited province. Currently, the municipality's major industries are agriculture, fishing, and food processing. Because of the town's proximity and easy access to Metro Manila, it has at present, captured a growing interest with investors and developers in its real estate and industry. It is described as the Gateway to the North because it is the first province met by travellers taking the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX).

Today, San Jose del Monte is the 19th most populated city in the Philippines with a growing suburban community. The city aims to create a productive and self-reliant community that makes use of all the potential that the different sectors in the society have to offer. There is a high demand for mid-end and high-end real estate markets which is driving the rapid expansion of household developments. More and more people are being drawn to the city because of its mix of urban development and local agricultural community. Major developers in the city include Ayala Land, which has invested in projects such as mixed-use and real estate property development.
